I'M ADDICTED TO 'YES' AND ALLERGIC TO 'NO'...(KNOW THYSELF)... This is the story of a...Mother...(more than rainbows) A dancer...(sometimes stripper) Actor...(under appreciated) Lover...(it's all we need) Fighter...(if you saw things like me, we'd get along better) Friend...(man's best) A Scurvy Elephant...(Disruptive Element) A Dreamer...(but I'M not the only one) I'M A SEEKER OF TRUTH ~NAMASTE~

ALONE IN MY HEAD
IT'S HARD TO KEEP PERSPECTIVE IN A WORLD SO NOISY, I GET DISTRACTED EASILY THESE DAYS. SOMETIMES IT'S DIFFICULT TO STRIKE A BALANCE WITHOUT FEELING BITTER, AND OVERWHELMED EVEN JUDGEMENTAL FOLLOWED BY GUILT. I READ SOME TIMELY WORDS ABOUT GIVING THANKS & TIS THE SEASON FOR JOY... I CAN'T PUT A FINGER ON IT, BUT SOMETHING'S OFF INSIDE. I BEEN THINKING ABOUT LEGACY LATELY, I DELIGHT IN HELPING MY MOM & GOING THROUGH GRANDMAS RECIPES. THE LITTLE THINGS KEEP ME OUT OF MY HEAD. MY THOUGHTS...MY FEELINGS...MY HOPES...MY FEARS... ALONE IN MY HEAD.

I am having similar feelings as I sit on the Amtrak to Boston... ALONE IN MY HEAD. I will be thinking of legacy as well this week as I spend time with family.
ReplyDeleteHappy happy to you JKS.
I hear you JKS.. but dont spend too long in there.. otherwise the overwhelm will become the status quo. Find joy in the little things. The things you can put your finger on. Or your hands for that matter.
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone.
